Many who end up studying this course in the university can comfortably secure jobs at the bank, financial institutions and cooperate entities. They can earn a living as a financial analyst, cost estimator, business analyst, market researcher, statistician, database administrator.

    You must have five SSCE credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and at least three subjects from Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Geography, to apply for Statistics as a UTME candidate.

    Can a science student study Statistics?

    Yes, as a Science, Commercial, or Art student, can study Economics and Statistics at university if the O level results include the required subject combination.

    Can I do statistics without maths?

    No, you cannot study statistics without mathematics as it is important to pass mathematics both in WAEC/NECO and JAMB
